Essential Oils & Their Uses

Bergamot

Uses: Balancing nervous system, anxiety, stress, melancholy, grief, depression, and improving sleep.

Sage

Uses: Relieves stress, worry, panic, guilt, obsessions, hostility, nervous exhaustion, PMS, and menopause. Avoid during pregnancy and with estrogen-dependent conditions.

Eucalyptus

Grapefruit – Purification

Lavender – Healing Expression

  • Smoking Cessation: Eucalyptus (10 drops), Lavender (10 drops), Peppermint (3 drops), Grapefruit (6 drops)
  • Alertness & Memory: Eucalyptus (10 drops), Peppermint (3 drops), Rosemary (5 drops) — use in diffuser or nebulizer

Dandruff

Dandruff is not caused by poor hygiene — it is a medical condition linked to a skin fungus known as P. ovale. This fungus is naturally present on the scalp, but in some individuals it grows excessively, leading to itching and flaking.

The flakes are a result of the condition, not the cause. Since the fungus is part of the skin’s normal flora, complete elimination isn’t possible — but treatment and control are effective with proper care and antifungal agents.

Acne
